Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Ganim, with City Council Members, in a coordinated effort with Superintendent Testani offer free face masks to parents and children at emergency food service sites throughout the city. The distribution of masks is an extra precautionary measure to protect residents and children of Bridgeport against the spread of coronavirus.
In the last 24 hours, the CDC and federal officials have clarified and “revised” their guidelines to “recommend that everyone wear face coverings when they’re out in public.” The city anxiously awaits any further orders that will assist in protecting the communities of Bridgeport, Connecticut and our nation.
Face masks and meals will be available while supplies last, for pick-up, Monday- Friday from 9AM and 1PM at the following schools:

The designated schools also continue to provide breakfast, lunch, and supper to Bridgeport students. Since launching, over 65,000 meals have been served. For Grab & Go meals, students must be under 18 years of age, children ages 10 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Meals for the weekend can be picked up on Fridays.
