Arts & Crafts on Bedford AND the Stamford Downtown Farmers Market return this Saturday, June 10

STAMFORD CT – While it’s still technically spring, summer is making a comeback quickly in Stamford. This Saturday, June 10, Stamford Downtown will be the location of two emblematic for the sunny season events – the launch of the local Farmers Market and the annual tradition of Arts & Crafts on Bedford.

Stamford Downtown Farmers Market

Veterans Memorial Park (130 Atlantic Street) will be the location of The Stamford Downtown Farmers Market which will open on Saturday, Jun 10 from 9 am to 1 p.m. Following the launch, It will be open every Saturday through October 28. According to the organizers, the market will offer fruits, vegetables, baked goods, cheeses, oils, jam and more.

The Stamford Downtown Special Services District, the organization behind the farmers market, reminds that there are several options for nearby parking: Landmark Garage via Atlantic Street entrance, Stamford Town Center Garage via entrance on Greyrock Place at Main Street (this portion of the garage in connected directly to Veterans Park via covered passageway) or Metered Parking on Atlantic Street

Arts & Crafts on Bedford

As mentioned, also this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. is the first of two Arts & Crafts shows on Bedford Street (the second will be held on September 9). The event features artisans and crafts people from all of the area, displaying and selling works from the world of ceramics, fiber arts, fine art, jewelry, metal, mixed media, photography, wood and more, according to DSSD. The event is kids friendly and there will be a special Kids Zone in Latham Park.
