DANBURY, CT – As part of its Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, Western Connecticut State University will host a special panel event entitled “Career Viewpoints From Trailblazing Hispanic Leaders.” Sponsored by the Savings Bank of Danbury, the event will feature four regional Hispanic community leaders representing hot industries, offering powerful insight and advice for students and anyone else interested in accelerating their career opportunities. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, in the Westside Campus Center Ballroom, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.
The panelists include Evelin Garcia, User Experience (UX) Researcher, Fluent Research; Carlos Guzman, Technology Risk, Ernst & Young; Kassandra Ruiz, Art and Marketing Director, Marathon Strategies; and Farley Santos, Banking and Community Outreach, Savings Bank of Danbury. Rozie Figueroa ’23, nursing student and president of the WCSU Latin American Student Organization, will moderate the event.
After the panel discussion, participants will be able to network and visit information tables representing WCSU Admissions, the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce, the Western Connecticut Small Business Development Center, WCSU’s Latin American Student Organization and more.
