Mayor gathers emergency response personnel
City Prepares for Hurricane Earl
Mayor Pavia today convened a meeting at the Emergency Operations Center at 3:00 PM today bringing together all principal parties in the event of initiating emergency management, should the hurricane or its effects, strike Stamford. Attending the meeting were Fire Chief McGrath, Police Chief Nivakoff, Captain Lombardo, members of the Mayor’s Cabinet, Health Department and representatives from the City’s Volunteer Fire Departments, Stamford Hospital, Stamford EMS and Connecticut Light & Power. More
