Stamford Public Schools Named Crystal Perry-Holden Assistant Principal Stamford High School

Stamford, CT – Stamford Public Schools (SPS) announced the appointment of current Dolan Middle School Assistant Principal Crystal Perry-Holden to assistant principal, Stamford High School, effective August 25, 2021. Perry-Holden fills the position recently vacated by the recent promotion of Matt Forker to Stamford High School principal.

Perry-Holden has served as assistant principal at Dolan for the past eight years. Earlier in her career, she was an English teacher, Drama teacher and English Department chair at Stamford High School. Perry-Holden grew up in Stamford attending Cloonan Middle School and graduating from the former Rippowam High School. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Howard University, a Master of Science in Education and a Sixth Year Certification in School Administration from the University of Bridgeport.

She has earned numerous community service and arts awards, including the Yerwood Hearts of the Community Award in Education; the Stamford Center for the Arts, Artistic Leader Award; and the Connecticut State Treasurer Award, Southwestern Connecticut Significant Community Contributor Award.
