STAMFORD, CT – On Sunday, November 22, Stamford Downtown partnered with Person-to-Person (P2P), ShopRite, New Wave Seafood and the Connecticut Office of Tourism to donate Thanksgiving meals to 500 Stamford families in need of help this holiday season.
In light of the current pandemic, Stamford Downtown was not able to host the annual Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular this year. In keeping with the holiday spirit, they hosted a Thanksgiving meal donation event for pre-registered families identified by P2P. While benefiting those in need, the event helps to Save the Date for next year’s Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular on November 21, 2021 and remind the region of the many reasons to visit our neighborhood.
This event was sponsored and supported by Connecticut Office of Tourism, Person-to-Person, ShopRite, New Wave Seafood, City of Stamford, Locust Performing Arts Center, Fairfield County Police Pipes & Drums, Stamford Police Department, Reckson, Atlantic Station, Beth Krupa Interiors, Bildner Capital, Cacace, Tusch & Santagata, John Cannavino & Cummings & Lockwood LLC, Cappelli Organization, Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Downtown, First County Bank, Dale & Stephen Hoffman, Kempner Properties, Locust Performing Arts Center, Norman & Nina Lotstein, Nagi Jewelers, NBCUniversal, One Stamford Realty, RXR Realty, Stamford Town Center and United Services of America/AffinEco, LLC.
