NORWALK, CT – As the pandemic winds down and masks become optional everywhere, there are still people who are apprehensive about being in a maskless indoor setting. That’s why, The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is inviting guests, who would prefer that everyone wears a face covering indoors for a special Mask Up Maritime event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on September 24th.
“We have received feedback from potential guests, some of which are immunocompromised, stating that they would love to visit the Aquarium. However, they would feel more at ease with everyone, including staff and volunteers, wearing masks,” noted Jodi Trice, Director of Guest Services at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk. “We hope this special evening has a good turn out.”
During this special evening, masks will be required for all guests, staff and volunteers.
Ticket reservations in advance are strongly encouraged. To learn more about the Aquarium and to reserve your tickets now visit www.maritimeaquarium.org.
